Day 2 - Tuesday

Here I am at the end of the trail! We made it!!! Woo Hoo! I was one of the first ones back to the van:)

Stopping to get sand out of our socks - Gotta watch those blisters!

Early on in the trail while we were all fresh.

This was the breakfast, but I chose the egg option since I was hungry.

My breakfast

Best soup I have ever eaten. Tortilla chicken with avacado!!!

Yummy salad!

Here's the rest of lunch. Chicken and avacado pizza. Delicious!

Sorry I couldn't stop myself. Took a bite before I remembered to take the pic! The carrots are roasted and have some kind of spice and dill on it. We joked they looked like french fries:P

So Biggest Loser Finale is starting in 15 minutes!!!! Woo Hoo!!!! We will be taking our pillows and blankets over to the activities room to watch it on the projector screen. What a way to party. In Utah though it isn't live. So don't call me and tell me who won!

Forgot to tell how much I burned on day one: 4,230 calories burned and 1,119 eaten for a total loss of 3,111 calories or almost a lb!

Day two: 4,010 calories burned and 1,200 eaten for a total loss of 2,810 calories.

  2. I know I'm supposed to be coming there to work out hard, but I think I'm coming for the food! Today's my husband's bday and we've been too busy to sit down and watch tv...we are recording the finale, though..for Biggest Loser and for Dancing with the Stars along with the finals for American Idol! We're just about to go watch the BL Finale! You're doing so good.....wonder what classes you had today? Hikes look like so much fun!

  3. The food looks incredible! Are you getting recipes for all of it? You could probably fix all of it without recipes, being the gourmet cook you are! It looks like you are having so much fun, and the views on the hikes look amazing! Keep up the great work!
